2017 STATE OF WYOMING 17LSO-0328 Introduced 1.2 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0100 Tax refund program. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Hallinan, Blake and Pownall and Senator(s) Wasserburger A BILL for AN ACT relating to tax refunds; providing for administration of the tax refund for elderly and disabled program as specified; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. There is appropriated four million one hundred thirty-four thousand two hundred fifty-eight dollars ($ 4 , 134 , 258 .00) from the general fund to the department of health. This appropriation shall be for the period beginning with the effective date of t his act and ending June 30, 2018 . This appropriation shall only be expended for the purpose of administering the tax refund for elderly and disabled program as provided in W.S. 39 ‑ 11 ‑ 109(c )( ii). Notwithstanding any other provision of law, this appropriation shall not be transferred or expended for any other purpose and any unexpended, unobligated funds remaining from this appropriation shall revert as provided by law on July 1, 2018. Th e amount necessary to continue operating the program shall be included in the department's standard budget for the 2019-2020 biennium . Section 2 . This act is effective July 1, 201 7 .
