Discriminatory and unfair employment practices enumerated; limitations.

(a)

It is a discriminatory or unfair employment practice:

(v)

For an employer to request information about an applicant's past criminal history on an employment application, provided, however, that an employer may request information about any criminal conviction that, under state or federal law, would automatically disqualify an applicant from holding the position for which he is applying.
