This act expands the described areas in which
property owners are eligible for compensation payment for damage caused by gray wolves.

The act
also
provides
that owners are eligible for compensation payments for damage caused by
gray wolves in areas of land designated by the Game and Fish Commission in rule which are adjacent to the described areas.

The act requires the Game and Fish Commission to establish in rule a process for persons to requests areas of land adjacent to the described areas to be designated as an area where
property owners are eligible for compensation payments for damage caused by gray wolves.
The rules shall provide that:

The adjacent area of land be outside the described area;
The adjacent area of land be a part of a contiguous tract of land a portion of which is currently located within the boundaries of the described area;
The adjacent area of land is privately owned;
The private landowner of the adjacent area of land consents to the designation;
and
The designation of the adjacent area of land does not subtract from or diminish the described area.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

(g)

For purposes of this section,
