A BILL

AN ACT relating to a state capital construction project; specifying requirements for a loan for repairs and renovation to the Wyoming state veterinary biosafety laboratory; modifying loan recipient to reflect government reorganization; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

ection 5 is amended to read:

Section 5.

In addition to the authority provided under W.S. 9

417, and upon
approval

by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under the federal select agent program
for possession, use and transfer of select agents and toxins
.
The
division

construction management department

may expend the funds as necessary to fully commission the laboratory space. Proceeds collected from insurers and third parties for the repairs shall be used to repay the loan. The attorney general, department of administration and information and
the University of Wyoming shall coordinate efforts to recover damages to the Wyoming state veterinary
biosafety level III laboratory.

Section 2.

This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
