Powers and duties.

(a)

The commission is directed and empowered:

(xxvi)

To regulate or prohibit the importation of exotic species, small game animals, furbearing animals, protected animals, game birds, migratory birds, protected birds, and fish into Wyoming, and to regulate and permit the importation of big or trophy game animals into Wyoming only for exhibition purposes or for zoos

Any coyote, porcupine, raccoon, red fox or skunk owned on or before the effective date of this act is exempt from the provisions of W.S. 23-1-302 as amended by this act until the game and fish commission promulgates
