Sponsored by: Senator(s) Bouchard, Case, Meier and Pappas A BILL for AN ACT relating to the legislature; providing reduced per diem payments for legislators as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1 . W.S. 28 ‑ 5 ‑ 101 ( b) and by creating a new subsection (g) is amended to read: 28 ‑ 5 ‑ 101 . Schedule of compensation, per diem and travel expenses. (b) Except as provided in this subsection , t he amount to be received by each member of the legislature for expenses shall be one hundred nine dollars ($109.00) per day. Members of the legislature shall receive fifty percent (50%) of the total per diem allowance specified in this section during the period the legislature is in session if the member 's home is within twenty ‑ five (25) miles of t he Wyoming capitol building .
