Assaulting a process server; penalties.

(a)

A person
is guilty of assaulting a process server if he:

(i)

ngages in the conduct described in W.S. 6

a), (b) or (g) against a process server while the process server is engaged in the lawful performance of his official duties
; and

(ii)

Knows or should have known that the victim is a process server.

(b)

Interfering with a process server; penalties.

(a)

A person
is guilty of interfering with a process server if he:

(i)

nowingly obstructs, impedes or interferes with a process server while the process server is engaged in the lawful performance of his official duties
; and

(ii)

Knows or should have known that the victim is a process server.

(b)

A person convicted of violating
subsection (a) of
this section is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, a fine of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), or both.
