2018 STATE OF WYOMING 18LSO-0345 Numbered 1.2 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0082 Community college tuition-special rates. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Clem, Edwards, Hallinan and Henderson and Senator(s) Driskill A BILL for AN ACT relating to community colleges; authorizing a community college district board to establish tuition rates in excess of tuition rates established by the community college commission; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1 . W.S. 21 ‑ 18 ‑ 303(a ) by creating a new paragraph (xviii) is amended to read: 21 ‑ 18 ‑ 303 . District board generally; powers; board approved additional mill levy. (a) The community college district board may: ( x viii) Es tablish tuition rates in excess of tuition rates established by the commission under W.S. 21 ‑ 18 ‑ 202 (a) (ii). Tuition rates established by a board shall not exceed commission established tuition rates by more than fifteen percent (15%) . Resulting additional revenue shall be deposited in the general fund of the community college that established the increased tuition rates . Section 2 . This act is effective July 1, 201 8 .
