Subject: Antelope hunt licenses. Summary/Major Elements: Current law authorizes the Game and Fish Commission to issue, upon payment of proper fees, up to eighty ( 80 ) licenses each year for the exclusive use of not more than a single one-shot antelope hunt. This act amends that language and authorizes the Commission to issue, upon payment of proper fees, up to one hundred sixty ( 160 ) licenses each year for the exclusive use of not more than two ( 2 ) antelope hunts, provided that: Not more than eighty ( 80 ) of these licenses are issued for a single antelope hunt event; Resource management requirements shall be considered in determining the total amount of licenses that are issued under the act. ORIGINAL Senate File No . SF0003 ENROLLED ACT NO. 15, SENATE SIXTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2018 Budget Session AN ACT relating to game and fish; authorizing the game and fish commission to issue licenses for the use of one additional antelope hunt per year; modifying restrictions on the issuance of the licenses; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1 . W.S. 23 ‑ 1 ‑ 705(b) is amended to read: 23 ‑ 1 ‑ 705 . Complimentary licenses; antelope hunt licenses; gunpowder and buckskin hunt licenses; gratuitous licenses; donated licenses. (b) In addition the commission may, upon payment of proper fees, issue up to eighty (80) one hundred sixty (160) antelope licenses each year for the exclusive use of not more than two (2) antelope hunts, provided that : (i) N ot more than eighty (80) of these licenses are issued for a single one ‑ shot antelope hunt . event ; (ii) Resource management requirements shall be considered in determining the total amount of licenses that are issued under this subsection each year. Section 2 . This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
