A BILL

AN ACT relating to state property and buildings; requiring that specified agencies' needs assessments and construction and renovation priorities be submitted by the state building commission to the legislature as specified; requiring legislative approval of capital construction projects as specified; specifying applicability; and providing for an effective date.

(a)

For buildings
, works or facilities
the operation, management
and use

of which are
assigned by law to a specific state agency or institution, including the department of transportation, game and fish commission,

niversity of Wyoming
and
state institutions

he needs assessments and construction and renovation priorities submitted to the state building commission and legislature pursuant to W.S. 9

shall b
e considered, prioritized and incorporated by the state building commission into the commission

s legislation requesting necessary funding, developed under W.S. 9

108(a)(ii)(J), for submission to the legislature for review, authorization and approval.

(b)

This section shall apply only to capital construction projects the total budget for which is in excess of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00)
.

(c)

N
o capital construction project
to which this section applies and
the total budget for which is in excess of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) shall be commenced
without legislative approval.

(d
)

This section shall not apply to
community college district capital construction.

Section 2.
This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
