Testimony by electronic means to authenticate speed logs.

A court in a criminal case in this state shall permit a witness to testify by electronic means at any hearing or, if substantial rights of the defendant are not prejudiced thereby, at a trial to authenticate electronic records that show a motor vehicle's speed at a given time. This section shall not apply to previously recorded testimony. The party proposing to have a witness testify by electronic means shall give five (5) days written notice of the request to the opposing party, unless the time is shortened by the court for good cause.

Speed detection devices.

The Wyoming highway patrol shall ensure that motor vehicle speed detection devices used by the highway patrol to enforce speed laws automatically and electronically record detected speeds.
