A BILL

AN ACT relating to teachers and employees; repealing the sunset date for the Wyoming adjunct professor loan repayment program; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 2.

There is appropriated one hundred one thousand seven hundred twenty dollars ($101,720.00) from the school foundation account to the Wyoming community college commission for the purposes of W.S. 21

701. The
appropriation shall be for the period beginning with July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2022. This appropriation shall not be transferred or expended for any other purpose and any unexpended, unobligated funds remaining from this appropriation shall revert as provided by law on June 30, 2021. Of the funds appropriated under this section not more than six thousand seven hundred twenty dollars ($6,720.00) shall be used by the Wyoming community college commission for administration of the program including expenses of the authority and loan administration.

Section 3.

(a)

Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, this act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become a law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.

(b)

Section 2 of this act is effective July 1, 2020.
