AN ACT relating agricultural extension; requiring consent of the county or district for hiring or firing an agricultural agent as specified; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

County cooperation in extension work; districts; county agents.

(c)

Any county or district complying with this section upon request shall receive a county agent or agricultural expert to be provided by the agricultural
college of the university. The university
, with the written approval of the county or district as provided in this subsection,
shall provide a suitable agent or expert, qualified to do the work usually expected from a person educated in the science of agriculture.
The university shall not hire any person as a county agent or expert under this subsection without first obtaining the written approval of the board of county commissioners of the applicable county or the written approval of a majority of the boards of county commissioners forming a district. A board of county commissioners may recommend the removal of an agent to the university.
