Failed

Plain English: The amendment changes the bill's language to specify a single effective date for the new time zone law instead of multiple dates and adds details about when certain parts of the law will be repealed.

  • Changes 'repealing provisions' to 'providing for repeal of the section'.
  • Replaces 'effective dates' with 'an effective date'.
  • Adds new language that repeals a specific part of the bill when another related law becomes effective.
  • Updates the overall effective date of the act to November 7, 2021.
  • The amendment's text does not explain how or why these changes affect the bill's content beyond altering its language and timing details.
