Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Complimentary licenses; antelope hunt licenses; gunpowder and buckskin hunt licenses; gratuitous

(m)

A resident holder of a valid Wyoming cow elk hunting license, who takes a cow elk that tests positive for chronic wasting disease may, at the election of the license holder, request and receive from the department a reimbursement of one

101(j)(xviii) or (xx) or a replacement cow elk license to be used in the same season and area unless the license holder requests and the commission approves the replacement license to be used in another season or area.

A resident holder of a valid Wyoming doe deer hunting license, who takes a doe deer that tests positive for chronic wasting disease may, at the election of the license holder, request and receive from the department a reimbursement of one

Section 2.

The Wyoming game and fish commission shall promulgate any rules necessary to implement this act.

Section 3.

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, this act is effective July 1, 2021.

(b) Sections 2 and 3 of this act are effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
