Operation in other counties; tax exempt status.

(a)

No county memorial hospital shall operate a hospital outside of the county of its establishment unless the county commissioners of the county in which the hospital will operate approve by resolution the operation of the hospital within the county. County commissioners shall not rescind approval once granted. This subsection shall only apply to hospitals that commence operations on or after January 1, 2022.

(b)

A county memorial hospital operated by a county outside of its county boundaries shall be entitled to tax exempt status under W.S. 39
