Adopted

Plain English: The amendment changes a part of the bill so that candidates for school board trustee must have their political party affiliation printed on ballots instead of just having the option to do so.

  • Removes the phrase ', at the candidate's' from the original text, meaning candidates no longer have a choice about whether to include their party affiliation on the ballot.
  • The amendment only specifies that candidates must include their political party affiliation but does not provide details on how this will be implemented or enforced.
