Rules and regulations governing drilling units.

(b)

In establishing a drilling unit, the acreage to be embraced within each unit and the shape thereof shall be
determined by the commission from the evidence introduced at the hearing but shall not be smaller than the maximum area that can be efficiently drained by one (1) well.
No drilling unit established under this section shall exceed one thousand two hundred eighty (1,280) acres.

Section 2.

This act shall apply to all orders establishing drilling units entered into on and after the effective date of this act.
