Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

(b)

The following provisions shall apply to the payment of taxes, distraint of property and deferral:

Monthly payment of ad valorem tax on gross product of mineral production.

(h)

For purposes of a tax holiday in tax year 2023, the amount of the tax due each month under subsection (b) of this section or due annually under subsection (d) of this section for production in calendar year 2023 shall be reduced by sixteen and sixty

seven hundredths percent (16.67%). This subsection is repealed on June 30, 2024.

Section 2.

To the extent that taxes on mineral production in calendar year 2023 are paid prior to the effective date of this act, the amount of taxes paid that would have been reduced under this act shall be reconciled as an overpayment of taxes as provided in W.S. 39

This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
