Amendments

These notes stay tied to the official amendment files and metadata from the legislature.

SF0052H2001

2nd reading • Representative Hornok

Withdrawn

Plain English: The amendment removes language that special education funding would be additional to other funds.

  • Removes the phrase 'be in addition to and shall not' from the bill text, changing how special education funding is described.
  • It's unclear what specific impact removing this language will have on the distribution of special education funds without more context.
SF0052SW001

Committee of the Whole • Senator Steinmetz

Adopted

Plain English: The amendment changes a reference in the bill from one section of Wyoming state law to another, specifically replacing 'W.S. 21-13-313(e)' with 'W.S. 21-13-313(c)'.

  • Replaces the reference to W.S. 21-13-313(e) in the bill text with a reference to W.S. 21-13-313(c).
  • The amendment does not provide details about what changes this section swap will make, so it's unclear how this affects special education funding distribution.
