Amendments
These notes stay tied to the official amendment files and metadata from the legislature.
Plain English: The amendment to SF0056 would add the word 'knowingly' before 'shall' in the bill's text, making it clear that entering private property without permission for hunting purposes must be done knowingly to violate the law.
Adds the word 'knowingly' before 'shall' in the existing prohibition on entering private land without permission for hunting.
The amendment text is very brief and does not provide context about how this change will affect enforcement or interpretation of the law.
It's unclear what specific impact adding 'knowingly' will have on legal cases involving hunters who enter private property without permission.

Plain English: The amendment to SF0056 changes how hunters can enter or travel through private land without permission.
Removes the word 'hunt' from the bill text.
Adds a comma after 'subsection' in the bill text.
Deletes the phrase 'requires physically touching or' and replaces it with a new definition that specifies what it means to enter or travel through private property.
The amendment's exact impact on how hunters can legally use private land is complex and may require further interpretation beyond this summary.
