Transparency; prohibitions.

(d)

A person's choice of in network provider shall include a retail pharmacy. The department of insurance shall promulgate rules regarding network adequacy of in network retail pharmacies and pharmacy location. An insurer or pharmacy benefit manager shall not use discounts in cost sharing or a reduction in a copay or the number of copays to incentivize a person's choice of in network pharmacy.

Section 2.

The department of insurance shall promulgate all rules necessary to implement this act.

Section 3.

This act shall apply to prescription drugs dispensed on or after the effective date of this act.

Section 4.

(a)

Except as otherwise provided by subsection (b) of this section, this act is effective January 1, 2025.

(b)

Sections 2 and 4 of this act are effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
