AN ACT relating to banks, banking and finance; repealing a provision related to disclosures on the face of checks and other instruments; repealing related definitions; making conforming amendments; and providing for an effective date.

Definitions.
(a)
As used in this chapter unless otherwise defined:

"Financial institution" means
as defined in W.S. 13

401(a)(ii)
any bank, savings and loan association, trust company or credit union having a place of business in Wyoming, whether chartered or organized under the laws of Wyoming or the laws of the United States. "Financial institution" includes a Wyoming branch of an out

‑
state bank resulting from an interstate merger pursuant to title 13, chapter 2, article 8 of the Wyoming statutes
.

and, for purposes of this article, shall include broker

dealers as defined in W.S. 17
