Corrected

Plain English: The amendment increases the grant for the LaPrele dam rehabilitation project by specifying a new funding amount of up to $60 million from water development account II.

  • Adds language to specify that up to $60 million or available reversions will be allocated for the LaPrele Dam rehabilitation project starting July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2032.
  • Reduces the initial appropriation by one dollar for each dollar in reappropriated reversions from water development account II.
  • The exact amount of funding will depend on available reversions from appropriations from water development account II.
  • If another bill, 2025 House Bill 117, is passed into law, its provisions would take precedence over this amendment.
