Subject: Reimbursement program for National Guard members' life insurance premium Summary/Major Elements: Creates a new program allowing the Military Department to reimburse members of the National Guard for the cost of service members group life insurance, up to $250,000 in coverage, if the member has served or is serving an enlistment of at least six years. Authorizes the adjutant general to adopt rules to implement the program. Contains a general fund appropriation of $1,150,500.00 to the Military Department. COMMENT: Creates major program creates a new program within the Military department for life insurance premium reimbursements.
