Subject: Providing for veteran's tuition waiver. Summary/Major Elements: Provides free tuition at the University of Wyoming and community colleges for overseas combat veterans and combat veteran widows and orphans. Specifies requirements to initially qualify for and to retain the free tuition. Provides for the community college commission to reimburse the University of Wyoming and community colleges for costs of providing the free tuition. Provides an appropriation of $200,000 to the community college commission to reimburse schools for the cost of tuition. Comments: Requires a report by October 1, 2006 and annually thereafter from the community college commission to the Joint Appropriations and the Joint Education Interim Committee.
