Subject: Provides civil penalties for violations of electrical licensing requirements. Summary/Major Elements: The bill provides for civil penalties of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for a first offense and not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for a second offense within three months for violations of W.S. 35-9-123, requiring licensure for electrical installations. The bill provides a procedure for notice of violation and opportunity for hearing. The bill provides that no criminal penalties will be applicable if the civil penalty is imposed.
