Subject: Authorizes administration of immunizations by pharmacists. Summary/Major Elements: This act: Authorizes the Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules allowing pharmacists to prescribe and administer immunization vaccines; Directs the Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules and regulations, following consultation with the Board of Medicine, implementing the program and specifying those vaccinations which pharmacists are authorized to administer.
