2008 General Session Summary for HB0021 Bill No.: HB0021 Drafter: MDO LSO No.: 08LSO-0174 Effective Date: 7/1/2008 Enrolled Act No.: HEA0011 Chapter No.: 23 Prime Sponsor: Joint Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Interim Committee Catch Title: Commercial vehicle fees. Subject: Increases the cost of commercial vehicle fees for oversize and overweight vehicles. Summary/Major Elements: Increases oversize commercial vehicle single trip permit from $15 to $25. Increases overweight permit fee from $0.04 to $0.06 for each ton of weight in excess of the weight limitation under W.S. 31-18-802. Increases the minimum fee for an overweight vehicle from $25 to $40.
