2008 General Session Summary for HB0085 Bill No.: HB0085 Drafter: MRW LSO No.: 08LSO-0172 Effective Date: Enrolled Act No.: HEA0054 Chapter No.: Prime Sponsor: Representative Olsen Catch Title: Brucellosis testing program. Subject: Brucellosis testing program. Summary/Major Elements: 2004 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 123, provided funding for brucellosis testing, supplies and equipment, with an amount set at not more than $3.50 per head of cattle actually tested. This act: Codifies the brucellosis surveillance testing in W.S. 11‑19‑407. Provides for a range for the testing reimbursement of $3.50 to $8.00 per head on cattle tested. Provides for monthly reimbursement payments directly to accredited veterinarians who perform the brucellosis testing.
