Subject: Cleanup of archaic laws. Summary/Major Elements: ● This act is part of regular effort to clean up statutes that have been ruled unconstitutional, had sunset dates which have been reached but still appear in the published statutes, contain incorrect citations or are otherwise archaic. ● This act: o Eliminates archaic terminology in statutes providing for issuance of new birth certificates following an adoption; o Repeals a subarticle establishing the Wyoming Arts Endowment Fund; and o Repeals a law first enacted in 1935 that creates civil liability for a liquor retailer who serves alcohol to a child, ward or habitual drunkard.
