Subject: Modifies the reversion of appropriated funds. Summary/Major Elements: This act is the result of a program evaluation conducted by the Management Audit Committee. It is a companion bill to SF 70, which also addresses the reversion of appropriate funds. This act modifies provisions which relate to the lapsing and reversion of state appropriated funds. It excludes from reversion, appropriations: o For capital outlays; o For information technology projects certified by the state chief information officers as meeting certain criteria, including a need to continue the expenditure beyond the fiscal period; o Specifically designated by law as not subject to reversion. Comments: Amends a major program: reversion of funds.
