A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to the Health Care Facility Licensure Act; to1
amend section 71-401, Revised Statutes Cumulative Supplement, 2024;2
to state legislative intent relating to reimbursement for PACE3
program services; and to repeal the original section.4
Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,5

Section 1. Section 71-401, Revised Statutes Cumulative Supplement,1
2024, is amended to read: 2
71-401 Sections 71-401 to 71-479 and section 2 of this act shall be3
known and may be cited as the Health Care Facility Licensure Act.4
Sec. 2. It is the intent of the Legislature to direct the5
Department of Health and Human Services to increase the reimbursement6
rate for PACE program services to no less than eighty percent of the cost7
of care received at a PACE center. 8
Sec. 3. Original section 71-401, Revised Statutes Cumulative9
Supplement, 2024, is repealed. 10
