A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to aid1
in carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 759, One Hundred2
Ninth Legislature, Second Session, 2026. 3
Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,4

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $415,000 from the1
Department of Water, Energy, and Environment Cash Fund for FY2025-26 and2
(2) $415,000 from the Department of Water, Energy, and Environment Cash3
Fund for FY2026-27 to the Department of Water, Energy, and Environment,4
for Program 334, to aid in carrying out the provisions of Legislative5
Bill 759, One Hundred Ninth Legislature, Second Session, 2026.6
Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated (1) $150,000 from the7
Livestock Waste Management Cash Fund and $75,000 from the Integrated8
Solid Waste Management Cash Fund for FY2025-26 and (2) $150,000 from the9
Livestock Waste Management Cash Fund and $325,000 from the Integrated10
Solid Waste Management Cash Fund for FY2026-27 to the Department of11
Water, Energy, and Environment, for Program 513, to aid in carrying out12
the provisions of Legislative Bill 759, One Hundred Ninth Legislature,13
Second Session, 2026. 14
No expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per diems15
for state employees shall be made from funds appropriated in this16
section. 17
