A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to aid1
in carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 958, One Hundred2
Ninth Legislature, Second Session, 2026. 3
Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,4

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $-0- from the General1
Fund for FY2026-27 and (2) $-0- from the General Fund for FY2027-28 to2
the Department of Health and Human Services, for Program 33, to aid in3
carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 958, One Hundred Ninth4
Legislature, Second Session, 2026. 5
Total expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per6
diems from funds appropriated in this section shall not exceed $-0- for7
FY2026-27 or $-0- for FY2027-28. 8
Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated (1) $-0- from the General Fund9
for FY2026-27 and (2) $-0- from the General Fund for FY2027-28 to the10
Department of Health and Human Services, for Program 348, to aid in11
carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 958, One Hundred Ninth12
Legislature, Second Session, 2026. 13
There is included in the appropriation to this program for FY2026-2714
$-0- General Funds for state aid, which shall only be used for such15
purpose. There is included in the appropriation to this program for16
FY2027-28 $-0- General Funds for state aid, which shall only be used for17
such purpose. 18
No expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per diems19
for state employees shall be made from funds appropriated in this20
section. 21
