ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 286

Introduced by Sorrentino, 39.
WHEREAS, the 2025 NSAA Class B Boys Golf State Championship was held in
Gering, Nebraska, at Monument Shadows on May 27 and 28; and
WHEREAS, the Elkhorn North Wolves landed a first-day score of 307, earned
the title with their second-day score of 298, and finished with a two-day score
of 605; and
WHEREAS, after an extensive trip and a downpour on day one, the Wolves
earned the win unphased giving it their all for the title; and
WHEREAS, such a team achievement was not possible without the help of the
community, coaches, teachers, and parents; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of Nebraska.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates the Elkhorn North High School boys
golf team on securing the 2025 NSAA Boys Golf State Championship title.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to the Elkhorn North High School
boys golf team and Coach Calvin Thompson.
