ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 290

Introduced by Sorrentino, 39.
WHEREAS, the NSAA Class B Boys State Tennis Championship was held in
October at Woods Tennis Complex in Lincoln, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, Mount Michael Benedictine School secured the championship title
by winning in three divisions and successfully defended their 2024 title; and
WHEREAS, Mount Michael Benedictine School claimed their fourth crown in
six seasons; and
WHEREAS, such a team achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of Nebraska.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates Mount Michael Benedictine School for
winning the NSAA Class B Boys State Tennis Championship.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to Mount Michael Benedictine
School and coach Chase Petersen.
