ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 291
Introduced by Sorrentino, 39.
WHEREAS, the 2025 NSAA Class B Girls Cross Country State Championship was
held on October 24 in Kearney, Nebraska, at the Kearney Country Club; and
WHEREAS, the Elkhorn North High School Wolves earned the championship
title and picked up their second-straight title; and
WHEREAS, the course at Kearney Country Club provides constant changes in
elevation making it difficult to keep a steady pace, but the lady Wolves
remained composed and relied on each other for support; and
WHEREAS, such a team achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of Nebraska.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates the Elkhorn North High School girls
cross country team for earning the 2025 NSAA Class B Girls Cross Country State
Championship title.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to Elkhorn North High School and
coach Jordan Fuglestad.
