ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 314

43; Storm, 23.
WHEREAS, the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association's Class C-1
Football Championship game was held on November 25, 2025, at Memorial Stadium
in Lincoln, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, the Sidney High School Red Raiders and the Wahoo High School
Warriors competed for the title resulting in the Red Raiders earning the
runner-up title; and
WHEREAS, this is the Red Raider's first state football trophy in school
history; and
WHEREAS, such a team achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates the Sidney High School Red Raiders
on earning the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association's Class C-1 Football
Championship runner-up title.
2. That a copy of this resolution be sent to the Sidney High School Red
Raiders.
