ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 315

43; Storm, 23.
WHEREAS, the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association's Class D-6
Football Championship game was held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Ron and
Carol Cope Stadium in Kearney, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, the Garden County High School Eagles defeated the Southwest High
School Roughriders with nonstop energy, leading the teams into a hard fought
41-22; and
WHEREAS, the win was the Eagles' first championship football title in
school history; and
WHEREAS, such a team achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates the Garden County High School Eagles
for winning the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association's Class D-6
Football Championship title.
2. That a copy of this resolution be sent to Garden County High School.
