ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 321

Introduced by Bosn, 25.
WHEREAS, Joshua Bush of Nebraska represented Nebraska and the United
States as a member of Team USA at the 2025 Veteran Fencing World Championships,
an international competition bringing together the world's best veteran
fencers, aged forty and above, competing across all three fencing weapons in
both individual and team events; and
WHEREAS, Joshua, competing as part of Team USA, earned a bronze medal by
placing third in the men's saber team event; and
WHEREAS, Joshua further distinguished himself by finishing among the top
eight competitors in the men's saber individual event; and
WHEREAS, Joshua's accomplishments reflect a sustained commitment to
athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and lifelong competition, and he further
contributes to his community by volunteering his time and expertise as a coach
at the Lincoln Fencing Club; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature of Nebraska recognizes the importance of honoring
citizens whose accomplishments reflect positively on our state and inspire
others through dedication and service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature hereby congratulates Joshua Bush on his noteworthy
achievements at the 2025 Veteran Fencing World Championships and his
representation of Nebraska and the United States on the international stage.
2. That a copy of this resolution be sent to Joshua Bush.
