ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 323
Introduced by DeKay, 40.
WHEREAS, the Nebraska State Band Association's state marching competitive
marching competition was held at Buell Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, the Crofton Warrior Marching band attended the competition as the
previous 1A champion performing the show "Agent 54"; and
WHEREAS, the Crofton Warriors Marching band brought home first place in
the Class 1A division again, earning six points higher than last year's score;
and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates the Crofton Warrior Marching band
for earning the Nebraska State Band Association's competitive marching
competition in the Class 1A division.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to the Crofton Warrior Marching
band and Band Instructor Ashley Leader.
