ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 327
Introduced by DeKay, 40.
WHEREAS, the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association Class D-2 State
Volleyball Championship was held at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln,
Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association Class D-2 State
Football Championship was held at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, on
November 24, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Wynot Blue Devils volleyball team defeated the Cambridge
Trojans after back and forth sets ultimately landing the Blue Devils on top;
and
WHEREAS, the Blue Devils football team defeated the St. Mary Cardinals
after an incredible no-look pass made by the Blue Devils; and
WHEREAS, this is the Blue Devil's first state championship title in both
football and volleyball; and
WHEREAS, such team achievements are made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates Wynot High School on winning the
2025 Nebraska School Activities Association Class D-2 State Volleyball
Championship and State Football Championship.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to the Wynot High School
volleyball and football teams.
