ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 331
Introduced by Storm, 23; Clements, 2; DeKay, 40; Sorrentino, 39; Strommen, 47.
WHEREAS, the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association Class C-1
Football Championship was held on November 25, 2025, in Lincoln, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, the Wahoo Warriors defeated the Sidney Red Raiders with a score
of 20-6, winning the state title; and
WHEREAS, this is the second championship in a row won by the Wahoo
Warriors; and
WHEREAS, the Wahoo Warriors football team members are positive role models
of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and discipline for young athletes in
their community; and
WHEREAS, such a team achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature recognizes and congratulates the Wahoo Warriors
football team and its coach on winning the 2025 Nebraska School Activities
Association Class C-1 State Football Championship.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to the Wahoo Warriors team and
Coach Chad Fox.
