ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 360

Introduced by Lonowski, 33; Andersen, 49; DeKay, 40; Dover, 19; Holdcroft, 36;
Juarez, 5; Lippincott, 34; McKinney, 11; Meyer, F., 41; Meyer,
G., 17; Moser, 22; Rountree, 3; Sorrentino, 39; Storm, 23;
Wordekemper, 15.
WHEREAS, the 2026 Nebraska School Activities Association Class B Girls
State Wrestling Championship was held at the CHI Health Center in Omaha,
Nebraska, on February 17 and 18; and
WHEREAS, the Adams Central Patriots won the championship out of eighty-
nine teams competing; and
WHEREAS, the Patriots were ranked number one by the Nebraska Scholastic
Wrestling Coaches Association and earned the team's first girls state wrestling
championship title in school history; and
WHEREAS, the Adams Central championship team includes Madalyn Anderson,
Tayla Allen, Zeniah Baca, Mackenna Edmondson, Jayme Holliday, Brianna Kalvoda,
Jennifer Lopez, Piper Moll, Emalee Poore, Jordyn Pracht, Alexa Rodgers, Addy
Simmons, Kayden Sipp, Nevaeha Sorenson, Quinlyn Statz, and Khloe Wiseman; and
WHEREAS, eleven members of the team qualified for the state tournament;
and
WHEREAS, Kayden Sipp finished the tournament as runner up, with a 44-2
season record, 151 total wins at Adams Central over her career, two state
individual championships in 2024 and 2025, and one third-place finish in 2023,
making her a four-time medalist in the state tournament; and
WHEREAS, Zeniah Baca finished the state tournament in fifth place, with a
38-5 season record, and Quinlyn Statz finished the state tournament in sixth
place, with a 31-12 season record; and
WHEREAS, Head Coach Teran Boyer and Assistant Coaches Alex Rostvet, Reagan
Gallaway, and Reggie Lewis led the Patriots to be the top Class B girls
wrestling team in the state of Nebraska; and

WHEREAS, such a team achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates the Adams Central girls wrestling
team on winning the 2026 Nebraska School Activities Association Class B Girls
State Wrestling Championship title.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to the Adams Central girls
wrestling team and to Head Coach Teran Boyer.
