ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 361
Introduced by McKinney, 11; Lonowski, 33; Rountree, 3.
WHEREAS, the 2026 Nebraska School Activities Association State Wrestling
Championship Tournament was held from February 19 through February 21 at the
CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, Kameron Green Jr. competed in the tournament for Creighton
Preparatory School in Omaha, Nebraska, and won the Boys Class A 144-pound State
Wrestling Championship title; and
WHEREAS, during the wrestling season Kameron showcased his discipline and
athletic excellence and represented the Omaha community at the highest level of
Nebraska high school athletics; and
WHEREAS, such an achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates Creighton Preparatory School
wrestler Kameron Green Jr. on winning gold in the 2026 Nebraska School
Activities Association Boys Class A 144-pound State Wrestling Championship.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to Creighton Preparatory School
and Kameron Green Jr.
