ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 362
Introduced by McKinney, 11; Lonowski, 33; Rountree, 3.
WHEREAS, the 2026 Nebraska School Activities Association State Wrestling
Championship Tournament was held from February 19 through February 21 at the
CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, Terence Crawford Jr. competed in the tournament for Omaha North
High School and won the Boys Class A 106-pound State Wrestling Championship
title; and
WHEREAS, Terence's hard work and dedication during the wresting season
culminated in him winning the state title; and
WHEREAS, such an achievement is made possible through the support of
teachers, administrators, parents, and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature recognizes the academic, athletic, and artistic
achievements of the youth of our state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature congratulates Omaha North High School wrestler
Terence Crawford Jr. on winning gold in the 2026 Nebraska School Activities
Association Boys Class A 106-pound State Wrestling Championship.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to Omaha North High School and
Terence Crawford Jr.
