ONE HUNDRED NINTH LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 363
Introduced by McKinney, 11; Rountree, 3.
WHEREAS, Terence "Bud" Crawford of Omaha, Nebraska, became a three-time
undisputed world boxing champion at 168 pounds; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Crawford was named the 2025 Ring Magazine Fighter of the
Year, one of boxing's oldest and most prestigious honors that is awarded to the
boxer with the best in-ring performance and impact; and
WHEREAS, in December of 2025 Mr. Crawford announced his retirement after
boxing for over thirty-one years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Crawford deserves recognition for his skill and
accomplishments as well as his contributions and dedication to the sport of
boxing and the continued pride he brings to the State of Nebraska.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Legislature recognizes Terence "Bud" Crawford for earning the
2025 Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year award and for an illustrious boxing
career.
2. That a copy of this resolution be sent to Terence "Bud" Crawford.
