Subject: Establishment of a task force to study distance education. Summary/Major Elements: This bill establishes a task force , chaired by the State Superintendent, to study distance education to inform the 2015 recalibration of the education resource block grant model. This bill requires the State Superintendent to periodically report to the Select Committee on School Finance Recalibration and to provide a final report with recommendations not later than October 15, 2015. Comments: Re quires reporting: periodically and final report October 15, 2015 , by the State Superintendent to the Select Committee on School Finance Recalibration.
