Summary for LSO115 Bill No.: SF0025 Effective : 2/25/2015 LSO No.: 15LSO-0080 Enrolled Act No.: SEA 17 Chapter No.: 35 Prime Sponsor: Joint Minerals, Business & Economic Development Interim Committee Catch Title: Cease and transfer priority list. Subject: Creates a prioritized list of projects to be funded under the Municipal Solid Waste Facilities Cease and Transfer Program. Summary/Major Elements: The act establishes a list of projects and amounts for expenditure by the D epartment of E nvironmental Q uality for purposes of the M unicipal S olid W aste C ease and T ransfer P rogram. The act allows the D epartment of E nvironmental Q uality the ability to change the order of the projects listed to optimize efficiency, based on project readiness or compliance with grant or loan qualifications or conditions, or to address emergency or immediate environmental concerns. The act also requires the D epartment of E nvironmental Q uality to report to the J oint M inerals, B usiness and E conomic D evelopment I nterim C ommittee and the J oint A ppropriations I nterim C ommittee, not later than October 15 th each year, regarding modification of the prioritized list encompassed in this act. Repeals the 2014 cease and transfer list (2014 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 91). Comments: Requires a Report.
